The funeral of Bacon Aldrich, who died in Auburn Friday, March 27, was held on Monday at his late home in Auburn, and the body was brought to Conquest for interment. Bacon was born and lived in Conquest until a short time ago when he went to Auburn, where he was in the employ of the Auburn & Syracuse Trolley Company. He had been ill only a few days and his illness was not considered serious. He had been in poor health for a number of years, but his sudden death was a shock to this [illegible]. Besides his widow and two small children, Pauline and Juanita, he is survived by his parents and brothers, who have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.

Mr. Aldrich was born in Conquest 31 years ago and has resided in Auburn for several years. He was in the employ of the Auburn & Syracuse Trolley Company. He leaves a wife, two daughters, Pauline and Juanita; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Aldrich of Conquest, four sisters and two brothers, Marion C. and Mrs. Merton Thompson of Auburn,

His WWI Draft registration card lists his birth as Feb 1889.
