Daughter of John C.Sands and wife of Martin EricksonGeorgetown, Ill. - (CNS) - Mrs. Anna Erickson, 55, died at her home on East Fourteenth Street at 11 o'clock Sunday night. She had been in her usual health during the day, but arose about 10:30 o'clock feeling ill and died within twenty or thirty minutes.
Mrs. Erickson was born in January, 1877. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sands, and was married April 9, 1893, to Luther Erickson. Nine children were born, of whom two died in childhood.
Surviving are the husband and the following sons and daughters: Clarence Erickson, Westville, Luther Erickson, Danville; Mrs. Grace Colvin, Charles Erickson and Mrs. Laura Wright, Georgetown, John, Mildred, Lyle and June at home; 19 grandchildren, two of whom Donald and Lynn Erickson were being cared for by their grandparents, two brothers, Charles Sands of Tilton, and Hugh Sands of Catlin.
H.J. Houghton is the undertaker. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home on East Fourteenth Street by Rev. Minnie Hollinsworth. Burial will be in a cemetery at Fairmount.
