Rose had 4 children who died young. Rosetta Fitzpatrick, died September 2, 1908 and buried in in Union Cemetery, Section 35 row 8 grave 8 south Milwaukee, WI, William Fitzpatrick Jr. was 4 years old, died, November 20, 1914, buried at Holy Cross, Block 1, Section H, Lot 4 grave 19, Milwaukee, WI, they have a mistake on their burial card as "Fitzgerald," Viola Fitzpatrick, died February 9, 1918, buried at Union Cemetery, Section 42 row 21 grave 19 north Milwaukee, WI and Julia Fitzpatrick who died June 20, 1914 and is buried at Union Cemetery, Section 41, row 1 grave 32 south.

Rose had the following siblings: Anna died at 64 years, Minnie (Fredrick) Schwartz who was 42, Emma Brochmann, Martha who died at the age of 6 years who is buried in Union Cemetery in Section 8, Block 11, Lot 4 South, (the cemetery disputed this burial existed, Hedwick who was the oldest, George who died at age 79, Walter, Robert, Alma and a baby who was born dead and buried with her mother, who died at this child birth Wilhelmine Koehler Lemke.

Rose's father remarried a woman named Wilhelmine Dummond and they had two children, Rose's half sister named Elsie Lemke (married name Elsie Carroll) and George Jr. who is buried next to Wilhelm and Wilhelmine Koehler's grave which is at Wilhelm Block 8, Section 3, Row 12 grave 59 south and Wilhelmine's at Block 8, Section 3, Row 14, grave 45 south. Wilhelmine Dummond had four children from a previous marriage named Ida, Manda, William and Hattie Dummond.

Her brother George, was father to Alfred, who together with his wife Mable Rueprect founded, owned and operated Lemke's German Restaurant for approximately 60 years, in 3 different locations, first on Tuetonia and Center Streets, adjacent to Briggs and Stratton Corporation, then to 48th and North Avenue, then to 118th and W. National Avenue in West Allis, WI.

Her sister Emma, once owned a well known restaurant named BUBEN AND BROCHMANN'S on East Locaust Ave and Oakland Ave by the then Fred Murray Theater. Bubin was a "roomer" who lived with Emma on Maryland Ave. In later years she lived in a plush home on the Milwaukee River on the far north side of Milwaukee.

Carl Buben Milwaukee Journal April 30, 1967 Carl Buben Services will be held Monday for Carl Buben, 88, retired restaurant owner, who died Friday of bronchial pneumonia at county general hospital. He lived at the county mental health center for five years. He formerly lived at 3023 N. Maryland Ave. Mr. Buben was born in Hungary and came to Milwaukee about 1906. He started in the restaurant business as a waiter and 1923 became a partner in the Buben & Brochman restaurant, in 1944 the restaurant was sold and Mr. Buben retired. He had no immediate survivors.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery
