PRIVATE SERVICES HELD FOR C.F. MEYER
Private funeral services were held last Tuesday morning in the Methodist church for C.F. Meyer, who passed away last Sunday morning at his home, following a long illness.
Rev. George W. Imel, pastor of the Methodist church read the last rites before the immediate family and internment took place in the Masonic cemetery here in Fallbrook.
Mr. Meyer, who had reached the age of 75, was born in Norway [sic], and lived in Santa Barbara before coming to Fallbrook in 1933 to live on his 10-acre ranch. About six months ago Mr. and Mrs. Meyer moved into Fallbrook and their son, George Meyer, took over the ranch.
Besides his wife, Anna, he leaves one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Hilda Balaan [Balaam] of Oakland, Max H. Meyer of San Francisco and Geo. Meyer of Fallbrook, also an only grand-son, George Meyer, Jr.
