Mary C. Shreve, wife of F. Shreve, of Lambert’s Run, passed peacefully to the land of the blessed Sept. 15, 1908. She was a devoted mother, affectionate companion and loved her neighbors as herself. She was also possessed of a cheerful hear and wore a sunny countenance and was greatly beloved by old and young alike.
Mrs. Shreve was converted at the United Brethren Church at Peoria the winter of 1879 and has been a devoted Christian ever since. Her last illness found her ready and she closed her life to earth to open them in Heaven.
