Mrs. Amy Maness Long, 51, of Rt. 12 (South Holden Road), Greensboro died yesterday in Wesley Long Hospital. Funeral will be 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Chapel with the Rev. James R. Thompson and the Rev. Nila Souther officiating. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
She was a native of Randolph County and had lived here most of her life. She was also secretary for the W. A. Long Concrete Co., Inc. She was a member of South Elm Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are husband, William A. Long Sr., of the home; daughters, Mrs. Paul G. Hipp of Sattelite Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Thomas A. Dew Sr. of Greensboro; sons, Thomas G. Long of Greensboro and William A. Long Jr. of Summerfield; sisters, Mrs. Helen Northcutt of Robbins, Mrs. Margaret Steed of Greensboro; brother, Jiles G. Maness Jr of Greensboro; mother, Mrs. Leria Turner Maness of Greensboro and eight grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 today. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
