Dorilas Jacob Driver, prominent farmer and businessman, died of Brights disease
July 30, 1923 at his home in the Tenth Legion-New Market section. He was a
well-known livestock dealer and director of the Citizens National Bank of New
Market and the East Rockingham Mutual Fire Insurance Company. He lived at the
old Driver homestead, his parents being John J. and Rebecca Cline Driver. He was
married to Miss Barbara Rosenberger, the daughter of Gideon Rosenberger of Mt.
Valley area. His children were: Mrs. Bessie Sellers of near Tenth Legion; Mrs.
Lucille Bradford of Tenth Legion; John R. and Julian Driver of Washington; and
