The funeral services for Mrs. Stella Carnahan Lewis, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dixie Nolan, 4248 S.E. Oak Street, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the St. Johns Funeral Home, followed by internment at Rose City Cemetery.
Rev. Harvey DeVries, pastor of the Pioneer Methodist Church, will officiate, with Minerva Chapter 105, OES, participating.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Arkansas March 25, 1863. She was the widow of D. C. Lewis. The couple came to Portland in 1912 and lived in the St Johns district for 35 years.
She is survived by her daughter; a brother, John H. Carnahan, Ft. Smith, Arkansas and three grandchildren.
