Mrs. Robert (Ethel R. Hogan) Boyer, 83, of
Decatur died 4:20 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 31, 1988)
in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in
Fairlawn Cemetery. No visitation. Arrangements
by Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home.

Mrs. Boyer was born in St. Helens, Ky., daughter
of David Henry and Melissa Hogan. She married
Albert Brandenburg. He preceded her in death. She
married Robert J. Boyer. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sons, Hershel Brandenburg of
Orestes, Ind.; Raymond Brandenburg of Connersville,
Ind,; Paul Brandenburg of Newport, Ky.; daughters,
Mrs. Forest (Pauline) Kirby and Alberta Henry, both
of Decatur; Faye Jansen of San Leandro, Calif.;
brother, Curtis Hogan of Brooksville, Ind.; sisters,
Canna Gober of Cincinnati, Ohio; Celia Barclay of
Weldon, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grand-
children.
One daughter, two brothers and one sister preceded
her in death.
