The marriage ceremony was performed at noon by Rev. W. B. Jorris. To the strains of the wedding march from Lohengrin, rendered by Miss Bessie Spafford at the piano, and Miss Daisy Matteson, violinist, the bridal party took their places at noon beneath an arch of lace and ferns. Miss Jennie Matteson was bridesmaid and Ross Spafford, a brother of the bride, acted as best man. Immediately after the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to a large company of relatives and friends.

Twin daughters were born to Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hoagland of Locke, Feb. 23. Mrs. Hoagland & children are at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spafford.

Mrs. Mary Spafford Hoagland, 78, wife of Glenn Hoagland of 7 West Ave., Moravia, died yesterday at her home after a long illness. A lifelong resident of the area, she had lived in Moravia for the past 18 years.
She was a member of Moravia Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Locke Grange.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Gerald Hoagland of Tully; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Fisher of Skaneateles and Mrs. Lester Rounds of Suffern; a sister, Miss Bessie Spafford of Denton, Md.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rounds Funeral Home, New Hope. Burial will be at Indian Mound Cemetery, Rev. Orlo Stewart officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
