Jeannine S. Oldham, 61, of New Castle, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 in her home after gracefully fighting a five year battle with cancer.
She was born on January 16, 1949 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Robert and Juanita (Carter) Oaldon.
Jeannine was a 1967 graduate of Knightstown High School and was an Inside Sales Manager at Draper Shade and Screen where she worked for over 30 years. She faithfully attended Memorial Baptist Church and loved to travel.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Michael "Mike" Oldham; two sons, Christopher (wife: Dawn) Roberts of Pittsboro and Matthew Roberts (special friend: Laura Zimmerman) of Centerville, OH; two grandchildren, Isabelle and Colin Roberts of Pittsboro; a sister, Denise (husband: Jim) Compliment of Fortville; four nephews, Tony (wife: Angie) Lewis of Fortville, Jeffrey (wife: Natalie) Lewis of McCordsville, Nathan (wife: Lisa) Oldham of Anderson, and Scott (wife: Catrice) Oldham of Pendleton; two nieces, Melissa (husband: Heath) Kelly of Anderson and Jennifer (husband: Mike) Hannah of Markleville; cousins, Michael Bolton, Pamela Oaldon Magee and Jeffrey Oaldon; step-father (Robert (wife: Jean) Nelson Sr. of Greenfield; father and mother-in-law, Charles T. and Joanne Oldham of Pendleton; sister-in-law, Beth (husband: Alan) Greer of Arden, NC; and two brothers-in-law, Greg (wife: Dinah) Oldham of Pendleton and Steve (wife: Terri) Oldham of Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Sproles Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tobby Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
