Frank Rogers, 76, Of East Broadway Dies
Frank Rogers, 76, of 108 East Broadway, died at 10 o'clock Monday morning in Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for about a week. He had been in ill health for some time. Born March 1, 1890, in Garrard County, he had lived here almost 40 years, was a retired farmer and a member of the Christian Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Kelly Rogers; four daughters, Mrs. Bettie Norvell, Danville; Mrs. D. L. Sunderman, (Louisville; Mrs. E. E. Lynch, West Jefferson, Ohio, and Mrs. Robert Shields, Batavia, Ohio; four sons, Frank J. Rogers and Cecil Rogers, both of Danville, and Earl Rogers and Eddie Rogers, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Beckham Rogers, Danville, and1 James Rogers, Stanford; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Edwards, Perryville, Mrs.Pearl Boone, Lincoln County, and Mrs. Nannie Powell, Portland, Ore., 24 grandchildren and six great-children. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Marvin L. Forbes, pastor of First Church of God, North Fourth Street.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. The body is at the funeral home..
