Mrs. Elsie L. Brown, 76, a resident of 3632 N Finnell nine years died at 11:25 a.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital where she had been a patient since last Nov 26. Born in Peoria on March 1, 1896, she was a daughter of Edward A and Lilla M Daily Ealey. She married Ervin Oscar Brown in Peoria Oct 4, 1912. He died here in March 1950. Mrs. Brown was a member of Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church of God. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy McCoy and Mrs. Evelyn Huffman and two sisters Mrs. Myrtle Quasebarth and Mrs. Alice Johnson all of Peoria, one brother Edward Ealey of Kansas City Kan, seven grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Wilton Mortuary with the Rev Jesse Baker of Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
