Before identification was made, J.R. Coover of the County Home was sent for and turned the remains over to funeral director John E Weber, and interment was in the Old Graveyard.
John was 18, and his father Mervin had been in Philadelphia for several years. He was survived by parents, and his siblings Harry and Bessie, at home; Sallie of Carlisle; Robert of New Jersey and Willie of Perry County.
