SERENA- James F. Kueteman, 67, of Serena, died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24, at Ottawa Pavilion.

Following cremation, funeral services will be private. Arrangements were handled by Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.

Mr. Kueteman was born on Aug. 13, 1939, in Plumerville, Ark., to William F. and Erma (Cates) Kueteman. He married Ardis Hage on April, 1973, in Sandwich.

He was a pipefitter with Local 597 and a member of Freedon Lutheran Church and Fox Valley Trail Riders Club. In his retirement he drove a carriage for Myron and Lois Sampson for weddings and funerals.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Deanna M. Kueteman of Fox Lake and Amy M. (Scott) Berggren of Ottawa; three sons, James W. and Jeffrey R. (Jennifer), both of Ottawa, and Keith A. (Patti) of Seneca; 11 grandchildren; and two brothers, Melvin (Georgia) of Serena Township and Vernon of Sheridan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, William C. Kueteman.

Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
