He entered the service on April 30, 1943 in Sampson NY. His service number was 821-14-44. He was separated from active service on February 26, 1946 in Shoemaker, CA.
His application for compensation was received by the board on April 28 1950 and he was awarded $160 for 16 months active domestic service and $270 for 18 months of Active foreign service, for a total of $430. That check was sent to 411 1/2 Main Street, Shenandoah, PA.
Oh, and he served on the USS BELLEAU WOOD 7/12/43 - 1/19/45
