known to host of friends as Ellie.
Born in Ohio, daughter of David
and Charlotte (Hoskins) Davis*.
Survived by husband, Richard Bennett,
and these children: David J.,
better known as Dick, 220 Morrell
Pl.; Ira, 764 Lucas Al.; Richard S.,
200 Wonder St.; Ivor, 238 Llewellyn
St.; and Elizabeth, wife of
James Hasselberger, 115 1/2 Hickory
St. Seventeen grandchildren, three
great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs.
Charlotte Malcolm, Bedford St.
Preceded in death by two children,
Evan Bennett and Mrs. Mildred
Rodkey; two sisters and two
brothers. Member of Memorial
Baptist Church. One of best-known
residents of First Ward where
she lived for 56 years after coming
to Johnstown from Brisbin,
Clearfield Co. Services: 2:30 p.m.

Wilbur Sheriff; interment, Grandview
Cemetery. Friends received at
funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
