JUANITA C. BESTLER, lifelong resident of Wheaton, died April 15, 2003 at the Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois.
She was born July 3, 1918 in Wheaton to Maximilian and Mary Burckal, owners of Burckal Cash Market. Juanita was raised in Wheaton and was a lifelong member of St. Michael Church in Wheaton and also the St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield.
Juanita is survived by her children, Joseph (Sharon)Bestler, Bonnie Rott(the former Vincent Rott), Diane (Herb) Berry, James Bestler, John Bestler and Jerrold (Pamela)Bestler, sisters Maxine Corl and Marcella Slattengren, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and daughter Lynda.
Funeral services will begin with prayers at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the William Knapp Funeral Home, Wheaton and proceed to St. John the Baptist Church in Wheaton for a funeral blessing. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Wheaton, Illinois.
