Jesse Lee Wallis, 53, of Oak Grave was killed near Oak Grove last Wednesday night in a car wreck. He was associated with the State Agriculture Department. Wallis was returning from a business trip to Baton Rouge when the accident occured about seven miles from his home. Mr. Wallis was born and raised in Haynesville, La. but had resided in Oak Grove for many years. Surviving Mr. Wallis is his wife, two children Robert and Linda, his mother Mrs. Cora Wallis, Three sisters Mrs. Joy Shaw, Mr. Gladys Parker and Mrs. Nodie Martin, one brother Vivian Wallis and one grandchild. He was the son of Frank Clifton and Cora Lee Wallis.
