Mrs. Charlotte Rae Turner Yokley Culler, 58, of 547 East Farriss Avenue, died at 3:10 a.m. today in Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, where she had been a patient five weeks. She had been in declining health two years and seriously ill 10 days. She was born December 22, 1916, a daughter of Robert Lee and Margaret (Brown) Turner. She was first married in 1935 to Arnold Yokley, who died in 1963. She was married February 4, 1966, to John C. Culler, who died
December 16, 1974. She had been a High Point resident for 45 years, moving here from Marion. She was a seamstress for Spectrum furniture Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. M. E. (Shirley) Berrier of Rt. 6, Winston-Salem, Mrs. H. M. (Linda) Board of Route 3, Mrs. L. R. (Judy) Embler of 1710 Valley Ridge Dr., Mrs. D. E. (Leslie) Eaton of 616 Manley Street, and Mrs. J. S. (Dena) Morton of 2334 Waterbury Street, Winston-Salem; two sons, Gary A. Yoley of 219 Irbywood Dr. and Larry C. Yokley of 3112 Garrell Street, Archdale; one step-son, Bobby Ray Culler of 312 Northridge Rd., Jamestown; 22 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Ann) Clark of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. J. (Rowena) Johnson of Broadway; and two brothers, Auril Turner of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Joe Turner of Lexington. Funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church by the Rev. Woodrow W. Robbins. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
