"Word was received here Tuesday of the death of Lynn Baldwin, son of Mrs. Dora Baldwin of Charlotteville, at noon Monday at the home of his brother, Ray Baldwin, at Slingerlands. The cause of his death is given as Bright's disease. He was only 33 years of age, a good farmer and highly respected citizen. The funeral will probably be held at his late home in Charlotteville on Thursday and the body interred in the cemetery there." [Worcester Times (Worcester, NY), July 19, 1916, pg. 1, col. 4]
