Marjorie Della More, born 13 January 1911 at San Diego County, California the elder of two children to John Edward Sylvester Schaeffer More and Sally Nadine Snead More, was a direct descendant of John and Betty More's Edward line. She was raised first at San Diego, California where her father was a conductor for San Diego Electric Railway. Her parents divorced about 1917 and she was then raised at San Diego by her mother and stepfather, William Lodge Shotwell, who was a fire department fireman. They relocated to San Francisco, California about 1930 where her stepfather was a washing machine salesman. In 1940, Marjorie was a Works Progress Administration (WPA) seamstress and, in 1944, she was a welder. Marjorie married to Henry Wahinekapu Kapaona in March 1955 at San Francisco County, California. They made their home at San Francisco, California where her husband was based as a seaman. Marjorie and Henry had no children. Marjorie died 15 February 1991at Contra Costa County, California, just days after her husband's death at Honolulu, Hawaii. She was buried at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park at Colma, California.
