Ira J. Foster of Fort Myers, Fla., died Tuesday, May 15, 2007. He was 81. He was formerly of Rossville and was a member of the Church of Christ in Fort Oglethorpe. He retired from Lu-cey Boilers. He was preceded in death by a brother, Chatt Foster, and a sister, Claudia Price. Survivors include son, Terry Foster; daughter, Cindy, and Linda Verry; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Marnie, Eric, Megan, Ryan, Alex, Amy, Anthony, Kim, Stacey and Clifton; sisters, Ruby Witzel, Libby Underwood, Ruth Harrison, Sada Middlebrooks. Graveside services at Dietz Cemetery will be announced later. Announced by Heritage Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
