Samantha Jane was the daughter of Albert Grubb, who died in a prairie fire in Pawnee County, NE, and his wife Lydia (Shellhorn) Grubb.
She was married to William Albert Miller August 22, 1867 in Pawnee County, NE.
I am still trying to piece together her story, her son Clarence Miller's death announcement said he was her only source of income and was an invalid, it had her name as "Jennie". The lot they are buried in also has Mary (1869-1878), Luther (1873-1877, Jennie (?-?). There are no stones for any of the Miller family. The lot is owned by E. J. Shellhorn (Edmund Julius), there is a stone for his daughter Nettie Shellhorn.
