Aileen Ethelyn Boecker, 71, of rural Danville, died at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 1992, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born March 26, 1921, in New London, she was the daughter of Earl and June Mathews Anderson. On Dec. 26, 1940, she married Carl F. Boecker in Burlington.
Mrs. Boecker worked for IRC in Burlington. She was a former church treasurer and taught Children's Church and Sunday School. For the past several years she has also entertained residents of the Danville and New London Care centers with her piano music.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kenneth Boecker of Danville; Leonard Boecker of Burlington; and Randall Boecker of Lowell; three daughters, Judith Darnell of Burlington; Donna Weyrick of Danville and LeAnn Boecker of Burlington; one brother, Dale Anderson of Farmington; three sisters, Mazie Engelhart of Minneapolis, Minn.; Goldie McGregor of West Point and Wanda Mehaffy of Danville; a number of nieces and nephews, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Elliot chapel in New London, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Boecker will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Harmony Bible Church in Danville with the Rev. Leonard Schantz officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
