GENEVA TOWNSHIP — Robert Lee Arnold was born May 19, 1924, in Cleveland and passed away in Geneva Township on Monday, March 19, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Anna (nee Zak); and siblings, Mildred (Joseph) Sykes, Edward (Marion) and Bernadette.
He is the beloved uncle to nephews, Thomas (Nancee) Sykes of Pittsford, N.Y. and Gerald (Patricia) Sykes of Concord, N.C.; niece, Ann Sykes (Patrick) Gregory of Simi Valley, Calif.; and great-uncle and great-great-uncle to 14.
Robert was a Veteran of World War II where he was awarded the Silver Star.
His cremated remains will be interred at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army, Ashtabula, Ohio Service Unit.
