OBITUARY

C. W. KING, former county judge and former commissioner of Hansford county, died at Spearman Friday, May 4. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Union Church, Spearman, with the Rev. Sam Malone, pastor of the Baptist Church in charge. He was assisted by Rev. S. F. Bastain, pastor of the Christian Church.

Pallbearers were W. M. GLOVER, W. A. ELLSWORTH, J. H. MARTIN, L. S. McLAIN, Hiram WILBANKS and Floyd HAYS. Burial was in Hansford cemetery.

Cicero Washington KING was born February 12, 1868, in Arkansas, being 77 years of age at the time of his death. He and his wife, who preceded him in death, came to old Mobeetie in the early days, moving to Hansford county in 1921. He was a member of the Baptist Church and of the Masonic Lodge.

Mr. KING is survived by his son, Allen KING of San Antonio, formerly of Perryton; another son, Jim KING of Clovis, New Mexico and a daughter, Mrs. Jimmy DAVIS, Spearman.

Mr. and Mrs. J. R. THOMAS and Mr. and Mrs. Robert LAWRENCE attended the service at Spearman
