E.D. Boyden, 82, Lincoln Native, Taken by Death
Edwin D. Boyden, a life-long resident of Lincoln Community, died Saturday, Sept. 11, at Auburn. He was 82.
Funeral Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Farnsworth mortuary, with Rev. Carl Patton, Pastor of the Methodist Community Church, officiating. Cremation followed.
Mr. Boyden was a native of Lincoln and spent more of his life as a farmer in this area. Surviving him are his wife; seven sons and daughters, Marion Stanley of of Turner, Ore., Dorothy Clappe of Nehalem, Ore., Alice Boyden of San Francisco, Nella Lucas of Sacramento, Ruth Knight of Sacramento and Edwin Boyden and Robert Boyden of Lincoln; 22 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Edwin Boyden's ashes were interned along side of the ashes of his friend, Thomas McGrath 1866 - 1953.
