Ira D. Kilbourne of Jackson Street, died last Sunday evening at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three days. He was 60 years of age. Born in Hector, Potter county, April 23, 1893, he was the son of David and Elizabeth Havens Kilbourne.

He had been employed in the Wellsboro plant of the Corning Glass Works for the past 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Leah Schoonover Kilbourne, one son, Ira, Jr., of Wellsboro; two brothers, Basil of Sharpsville and Wayne of Binghamton; two sisters Mrs. Arnella Newton of Millville, N. J. and Mrs. Wilford Wilbur of Corning; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Bastian & Kuhl Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Beuzyk, pastor of the Calvary Tabernacle and Rev. Harold Crosby, of Tyrone, former pastor here, officiating.

Burial will be made in Ansonia Cemetery.
