LYONS - Mrs. Clara Bobb, 78, Lyons, died at 6 p. m. Tuesday in the Sterling hospital. She had been ill nine weeks.
Mrs. Bobb was born in West Virginia on March 26, 1876. She had spent most of her life in Rice county. Mrs Bobb was a member of the Presbyterian church. Her husband, John, died in 1939.
Surviving are two sons, Maurice, La Fontane, and Howard, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs Art Ehrsam, Lyons; two brothers, F W Stewart, Medford, Okla., and O C Stewart, Lyons; a sister, Mrs L J Rankin, Lyons; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crawford-Miller chapel with Rev. David Townley, Abilene, officiating. Burial will be in the Lyons cemetery.
