Summary: Mrs. Mary Hoover of 117 East Walnut street, Lancaster, died Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. S. S. Graybill, at 371 East Main street this borough, of a complication of diseases, after a three months' illness aged 81 years. She was visiting at Lititz when she became ill. She was born in Talmage and was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Good Kofroth [sic]. Her husband Adam E. Hoover died February 22, 1911. She was a member of the M. E. church at Leola and resided in Lancaster for 15 years.
Survivors: 3 children; Mrs. S. S. Graybill, Lititz; Adam Hoover, Brownstown; and Miss Abbie Hoover, at home at Lancaster, six great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Sallie Wenger of Reading.
Private services at the home of S. S. Graybill, Lititz and public services at Carpenter's church, near Talmage. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
