ADAMS, JAMES E. "JIM," 70, of Pioneer Village, returned to his Heavenly Father, Friday, December 19, 2008 at Wesley Manor Healthcare with loved ones by his side. He was retired from General Electric, a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church, Bullitt Masonic Lodge #155 and an Air Force veteran. His hobbies included traveling, wood working and fishing with all his old buddies. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Adams; sisters, Norma Jean and Anna Marie; brothers, Cress and David, all of Whitesburg, KY. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 46 years, Hilda Sexton Adams; sons, James Adams Jr. (Sherri) and Stephen Ray Adams (Sara); sister, Irene Amburgy (Homer), of Wellington, KY; grandchildren, James Larison Adams, Rachel Lynne and Carter Ray Adams and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visiting for Mr. Adams will be 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic service: 7 p.m. Monday. Burial: Brookland Cemetery -
