Lenvil Bryant, 92, of 900 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 10:44 p.m. at Britthaven of Somerset.
He was the son of the late Ralph and Oda DeHart Bryant, a member of Freedom Separate Baptist Church and a member of Hood Lodge #839. He was owner of Bryant's Grocery and was a mail carrier for many years. He was employed by Day & Day Feed Mill, Barnes Milling and Curtis Wilson Realty for years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Mae Carter Bryant in 1995.
He is survived by one daughter, Shirley Sneed of Columbia; one son, Leo Bryant of Columbia; and six grandchildren, Tim Bryant, Jimmy Bryant, Regina Zais, Rhonda McLean, Jennifer Mann, and Donna Propes. Ten great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Bryant and Bro. Bobby Sinclair officiating.
Burial in Freedom Cemetery.
The casket bearers were: James Green, Paul Jr. Green, Mark Franklin, Michael Mann, Jason Propes, and Gene Allen Young.
Masonic service was held Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Hood-Lodge #839 in charge.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
