Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: she was a daughter of Benjamin Brazell and Margaret G Martin. She was a widow at the time of her death and the certificate does not name her spouse. She died of chronic pulmonary tuberculosis at the Ridgewood T.B. Camp. The informant was Mrs. M. R. Bagnall of Columbia, SC. The 1900 US Census for Ward 3, Columbia, SC shows her as the wife of James T. Rideout. She apparently remarried. The 1910 US Census for Columbia has Henrietta listed as the wife of John Wavra (? spelling) and her children Etta, 16, Jessie, 15 Joe, 12, George, 10, Hazel, 7, Catherine, 6 (all Ridoutte). Mr. Wavra is listed as a German immigrant (1888) who is a tailor. In 1920, she is enumerated at a Rideoutte and her children, Joe G, 22, George D, 19, Hazel E, 17 and Catherine M, 15 are all living with her. They live at 2301 Lady Street. Christopher A. Kelly, 35, who is listed as her son, is also living with her. A death certificate found on FamilySearch.org for Christopher H. Kelly, single, DOD 26 Oct 1927, lists his parents as John Kelly and Henrietta Brazell.

Found in The State 09 June 1923: Mrs. Henrietta J. Rideoutte, 57, widow of J. W. Rideoutte, died at 8 o'clock last night at a local hospital after an illness of a year or more. Mrs. Rideoutte was a native of Columbia and lived out her life here. She was for years a faithful member of the Waverley Methodist church. She was twice married and the following children survive the first union: C. A. Kelly, Mrs. A. B. McCormac and Mrs. M. R. Bagnal, while from the second marriage survive J. G. Rideoutte, G. B. Rideoutte and H. E. Rideoutte, all of Columbia, and Mrs. R. P. Feather of Jacksonville. She is also survived by the following brothers: A. A. Brazell of Columbia, P. E. Brazell of Augusta, Lawrence Brazell of Florence and a sister, Mrs. J. B. Edwards, of Columbia. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home of Mrs. M. R. Bagnal, 119 South Edisto avenue, the Rev. A. M. Dagger being in charge.
