Mrs. Ann Redmayne Osborne, 63, died on Monday, May 17, 2004, at her residence in Wilmington, NC, after suffering an extended battle with cancer. She was born in Charlotte, NC, daughter of the late Robert and Marion Redmayne, who resided on Bernard St., Wilmington, for many years.

Mrs. Osborne attended St. Mary Catholic Elementary School, and was a 1957 graduate of New Hanover High School, and she was a 1961 graduate of East Carolina College with a B.A. degree in math and geography. Mrs. Osborne was administrator of Watson Memorial Home in Warren, PA, for 13 years until her retirement in 2002. A lifelong Christian, she had been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, NC, First Presbyterian Church of Warren, PA, First Presbyterian Church, Washington, NC, and most recently, a member of St. Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wilmington, NC.

She is survived by her husband, Robert N. Osborne, a daughter, Laura Ann Williams of Tavares, FL, son, Samuel Graham Brooks and daughter-in-law, Billie Carol Stocks Brooks of Washington, NC; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose Williams, Frankie Lee Lender II, and Hatteras Graham Brooks.
