ADA MARIAN ALFORD
Ada Marion Alford was born in Highland Park, Illinois, on August 15, 1869. She died July 1st in Portland, Ore., at the age of 65 years, 10 months and 14 days. She came to Trout Lake with Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Cutting in 1910, with whom she lived since that time. She had also made her home with the Cuttings in the East for 20 years. She was Mrs. Cutting's niece.
The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, besides the Cuttings, one sister, Mrs. William Regan and five nieces of Willmet, Illinois.
Miss Alford had always taken a prominent part in community affairs, was a member of Trout Lake Grange No. 210, and for many years was secretary of the Western Klickitat Pomona Grange. She was appointed post-mistress of Trout Lake six years ago. She is greatly missed by the entire community.
