Sister Lauretta Ann was born on August 22, 1932 in Marshfield a daughter to Roman and Loretta Martin Neder.
For twenty-seven years of her professional life, Sister Lauretta Ann educated students at all levels: six years at primary and middle-school level, eight years at junior high, ten years at high school, and three years at the college level. With a masters' degree in physics, she excelled at teaching math and science. Her proficiency with computers brought her into the administrative side of education where she worked for more than twenty years. Her abilities both as educator and as administrator were appreciated wherever she served in Indiana, New York, and Wisconsin.
In Fond du Lac she served many years at St. Mary's Springs High School and Marian College as well as in the congregational business office. Declining health led her to St. Francis Home for the past few years. Sister Lauretta Ann was a quiet, humble woman religious who placed her skills at the service of others.
She is survived by three sisters: Bernadine Neder and Nancy (Ronald) Michalski both of Marshfield, and Betty (Jerome) Wittman of Babson Park, FL; nieces; nephews; other relatives; friends; and the members of the Congregation of St. Agnes, with whom she lived and ministered.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
