Milda Elisa Barth, 89, Lincoln, died Monday, April 2, 2012.
She was born Jan. 18, 1923) in Waco, to August and Elisa (Staehr) Uffelman.
She was united in marriage on Feb. 15, 1942 to Robert O. Barth. Together they lived and raised their family on the farm in York County. They retired to Lincoln in 1991.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, LWML Circle 2 of the church, and Charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in York. She was well-known for being a wonderful cook and hostess.
Family members include sons, daughters-in-law, Michael J. and Corlyce Barth, Odessa, Texas, Gregory L. and Anita Barth, Robert C. and Alana Barth; daughter, Rebecca L. Fauver, all of Lincoln; nine grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, one sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 6 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 South 33rd,, with Pastor Mark Ebert officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, York.
Arrangements are being made by Roper and Sons Funeral Services, Lincoln.
