Survivors include his parents, Larry and Loretta Greene Garland of Bakersville, NC, sister, Ginger Garland Franklin and husband Daniel of Unicoi, TN, brother, Dakota Garland of Bakersville, NC, great grandmother, Bertha Garland of Bakersville, NC, grandfather, Clyde Garland of Bakersville, NC, nephew, Seth Franklin, niece, Rylee Franklin, special friend, Halley Burleson.
He was preceded in death by: grandparents, Liney and Linda Faye Greene, and grandmother, Shirley Garland.
Funeral services will be held at the Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ. G.B. Garland, Stokes Cook, Dakota Garland and David Byrd will be officiating the service. Interment will be at the Whitson-Garland Cemetery.
