Alda Albuquerque Magan, 96, died on October 25th, 2002. She was my grandmother. She was an awesome grandmother, very loving, kind, and VERY Catholic.

I remember the 2 of us sitting on the porch chairs, rocking back and forth, talking about ghosts, her past, and just life in general. Every time, whether I was a lil kid, 25 years-old, no matter what age...when my grandmother walked through my parents' front door, I ran to her and gave her a big hug. She damn well deserved it every time. She was awesome.

In front of my siblings, she would always announce that I was her favorite grandkid. It was kinda embarrassing, hearing that in front of my siblings, but I got used to it after awhile.

She was a very loving grandmother. She lived a good long life. She had some tragedies, unexpected ones, in her life. But she remained strong through all of them. I'm her favorite grandkid, and she will always be my favorite grandmother. I miss you grandma!

Love,

Sean
