Mrs. Davis is buried here
Mrs. James H. Davis, whose husband is a former Syracusan, and who was a member of the nationally known Scott family, manufacturers of Scott's Emulsion remedies, was buried in Oakwood Cemetery yesterday.
The body was brought here from Oakland, Cal., where Mrs. Davis died at the family home Saturday after a long illness.
Mrs. Davis was well known in Syracuse and Onondaga County. After their marriage MR. and Mrs. Davis lived for several years at Skaneateles, and six years ago they moved to California.
Because of her love for Syracuse and her many friends in Onondaga County, Mrs. Davis expressed the wish a few days before her death that she be brought here for burial.
