Allura was married twice. She 1st married Edward QUICK. Edward was killed while working - he was a "switch" or "brake" man for the train. He fell from a gravel train and was run over.
Allura and Edward had one daughter- Edna who was born after Edwards death.
Allura married 2nd- Lewis George GEIS.
Allura may have worked as a maid in a hotel -name unknown- on or near the Delaware River.
Mother to Edna (Quick)Hunsberger
and Bertha Laycock (Geis) Biebigheiser and George Dalley GEIS.

*Although her grave stone lists her year of birth as 1859, most other records say she was born in 1860. Her baptismal record lists her as being born March 27, 1860 and baptized on July 20, 1860. Also on a census for Upper Mt. Bethel, Northampton Co., PA dated 26 June 1860 it lists her as being 3/12 years old. I don't know why her stone says 1859.
