William Robert Quattlebaum, 71, a retired farmer of Southside, died last Saturday at a Conway hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Macedonia Baptist Church at Gravel Hill in White County by Rev Luther Langley of Kensett.
Mr Quattlebaum was born at Romance and was a Mason and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Effie Newton Quattlebaum; five sons, Richard Quattlebaum of Greenbrier, Doyle Quattlebaum of Damascus, Homer Quattlebaum of Bee Branch, Milburn Quattlebaum of Wichita, Kan., and Warren Quattlebaum of Conway; a sister, Mrs Janie Cato of Searcy; a brother, Phillip Quattlebaum of Amarillo, Tex., and eight grandchildren.
Burial was in Quattlebaum Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
