George B. Jacobs, age 92, of Chambersburg, Pa. died early Friday morning in the Shook Home. Born on June 10, 1911 in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son th the late William W. and Catherine Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs retired from the Borough of Chambersburg as Borough Secretary with 41 years of service.
He was preceded death by his wife, Ellen (Stepler) Jacobs, who died on April 20, 1986, and one son, George B. Jacobs Jr.
He is survived by four sons, Robert H., Michael A., and Thomas R., all of Chambersburg, and Peter W. of Orlando, Fla., fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Burial, Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home Inc., Chambersburg.
