Mary Baker Calvin Mary Baker Calvin, 85, a retired bookkeeper, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005. Mary was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee and a graduate of Florida State College for Women. She was a member of Colonial Dames, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution, served as a volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, and also volunteered at the library preparing income taxes. She was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She is survived by four daughters, Jan Calvin, Allison Berry (and husband John) and Suzanne Tompkins, all of Tallahassee and Elizabeth Taylor of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Kristy Mostyn and David Tompkins, both of Tallahassee and David Taylor, Mark Taylor and Timothy Taylor, all of Jacksonville; and a great-granddaughter, Brynnlee Mostyn of Tallahassee. She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Calvin and a daughter, Amy Carol Calvin.
