He was an accomplished carpenter and a proficient mechanic, and earned his living at these two trades. George was a truck-driver in the Army during WW II.
George had many interest and hobbies: he enjoyed square-dancing and treasure-hunting. He was also a champion eight-ball billiards player and won many awards.
George was a devout Baptist.
George at one time was married, and it is believed by me that he has two daughters and a son. Their whereabouts are unknown to me at the time of this writing.
George came from a large family, and has five brothers and two sisters.
He was preceeded in death by three brothers, one sister, and both of his parents.
George leaves behind two brothers: (Rannell Jones of Portales, Roosevelt County, NM, and Raymon Jones of Artesia, Eddy County, NM), and one sister, (Lula Lee Aganski of El Paso, TX). He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. George Randolph Jones will always be missed by the many loved ones who love him.
