Eleanor "Meme" (Corson) Willand, 76, of South Main Street, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, N.H., after a short illness.
Ellie was born May 16, 1933, the daughter of the late Guy and Zaida (Kimball) Corson, and was a lifelong native of Wolfeboro. She spent her life as a homemaker, beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Ellie was the widow of the late Earl "Babe" Willand and is survived by her son, Tom Willand and his wife, Dianne of Wolfeboro; her daughter, Nancy Morse and her husband, Mike, of Dover; two granddaughters, Shawna Ortisi and her husband, Bill, and Melissa Willand of Wolfeboro. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Hamlin, and her brother, Richard Corson, both of Wolfeboro.
Ellie was also predeceased by her daughter, Karen Willand.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be Friday, 11 a.m. at Lord Funeral Home, 23 Club Lane, Wolfeboro. Burial will be in the South Wolfeboro, Cemetery, Middleton Road, South Wolfeboro.
