Evaline E. Bard, 82, of the Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit, McConnellsburg, and formerly of Ebenezer Church Road, Needmore, died on Friday, May 14, 2004, in Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg.

Born in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Elmer V. and Lillian (Wible) Mellott.

She was a homemaker.

She was the widow of Michael E.H. Bard, who passed away in July 1997. They were married on Dec. 24, 1939.

Mrs. Bard was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Needmore, for over 60 years and also a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Women.

She is survived by a son, the Rev. Donald R. (husband of Phyllis) Bard of McConnellsburg; a sister, Edna Shaw of Three Springs; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were son James L. Bard and daughter Betty Jean Bard.

Interment in Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery.
