"JOHN BECKMAN DIES JUNE 29" - Mr. & Mrs. Henry Beckman and their three daughters, Mrs. Walter Flint, Mrs. Roy Betternhausen and Mrs. Norman Stenerson and her three children Tami, Terri and Kristin went to Miles City Thursday July 2 to attend funeral services for Henry's older brother John F. Beckman.

Beckman who was 86 dies at his home June 29 after a long illness.

He was born July 27, 1877 at Rushford, Minn, and came to Baker with his brother Henry in 1908 and moved to Miles City in 1911 where he worked at his trade of Harness maker in the Miles City Saddlerys for 46 years.

He is survived by his widow, the former Effie Hutchinson and five children.

The brother Henry is the last living member of a family of seven.

Services were held in Stevenson Funeral Home in Miles City with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Miles City, MT.
