Private graveside services for George Eldon Stevenson, age 69, of Redding will be held Monday at Redding Cemetery. The Reverend Henry Searle will officiate. Mr. Stevenson died Thursday at Memorial Hospital in Redding. He was born on May 24, 1913 in Sacramento and moved to Shasta County a year later. He worked as a parts man, for 28 years, with Lou Gerard Motors (predecessor to Redding Ford). He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1934 in Redding. Mr. Stevenson is survived by his wife Alice and sister Marie Skeels both of Redding and a brother, Jay Stevenson of Novato.
